ANH DL-44’s
ANH Hero (3 Version available)
- Bapty (Pre-Production) – This is how the blaster originally looked when first created by Roger Christian and presented to George Lucas for approval. The starting point for everything that followed.
- Mint Condition – The next phase of this prop’s evolution. The mount rail was reversed and the heat sink grill, Mystery Disk Cover, and antenna greeblies (both fully intact) were added to finalize the prop before filming began at Elstree Studios in the UK.
- Film Weathered Version – Arguably the most iconic look in Star Wars history. This is how the blaster looked after filming wrapped — weathered rail, aged screws, a broken antenna greeblie (only one partially remains), and the now-famous “Mystery Disk” revealed on the left side. This IS the blaster you are looking for.

ANH Greedo Killer (2 Version available)
- Film Version – The first appearance of the MGC (Model Gun Company) DL-44 in Star Wars. This version features the straight scope and matching-size traditional weavers, both attached behind the windage knob. This is how the prop looked during the pickup scenes filmed in the United States.
- SWC Version – This is how the Greedo Killer appeared when photographed for the Lucasfilm Archives and in publicity stills of Harrison Ford in costume. Same MGC base and mount, but with a bent scope, offset football-style weavers of differing sizes — only one attached to the mount, the other floating out in front of the windage knob. ANH Merr-Sonn
This is a recreation of the resin prop made famous when photographed with Carrie Fisher in costume as Princess Leia. The original was cast from the ANH Hero C96, and this replica captures every detail of that casting. It’s designed to be displayed with its authentic resin appearance while still maintaining the full mechanical functionality of the original design.

TESB DL-44’s
ESB Hoth
When production on The Empire Strikes Back moved to Finse, Norway, this prop came with them — appearing most memorably when Han and Chewie take down the Imperial Probe Droid. Built from an MGC base, it’s faithfully recreated here in every detail, including the hand-drawn lines on the flash hider. Yes, those lines were actually drawn on the original prop, and they’re drawn on here too, to preserve that authenticity.
Also included is an interpretation of the Mystery Disk that was lost during filming, giving you the option to display it as found or as it would have originally appeared.
One of these replicas is proudly on display at Finse 1222 — the very hotel where the cast and crew stayed during the 1979 shoot — as part of their museum celebrating the film.
ESB Stunt (2 version)
- Dagobah -Features the broken-style mount held together with two visible screws, plus a glass lens (the original prop used a reflective material to catch the light).
- Muppet – The prop as it appeared on *The Muppet Show* (also filmed at Elstree Studios), with a clean mount and no glass lens — the M19 scope on this specific prop was a fully solid casting.
Both the Dagobah and Muppet versions (along with the Merr-Sonn) were cast from the same C96 used for the ANH Hero blaster. Each can be displayed with the authentic cast appearance of the original film props, and like the Merr-Sonn replica, both retain the full mechanical functionality of the original design.

ESB Bespin (2 Version available)
- HS (Han Solo) – Features the 3/4 light port on the M19 scope replica and a cleaner flash hider, along with its own unique mount style. The mount rotates slightly to recreate how it appeared in publicity stills of Harrison Ford in character for The Empire Strikes Back.
- LS (Luke Skywalker) – Features the full light port on the M19 scope replica and a weathered flash hider. The mount, while visually similar to the HS version, is unique to this prop with subtle rounded details that set it apart. Note: unlike the Static version of this build, the safety on the Elite LS does not feature a hole. This reflects my own research and personal belief that the original prop did not have one — but it’s a detail that’s been debated among collectors for years, and reasonable people disagree.
Both original filming props were constructed from live-fire C96s and are considered the hero props of ESB — capable of firing blanks on set. These replicas are 100% non-firing, but every detail, including the greeblie on the left side, has been authentically recreated as accurately as humanly possible.

ROTJ DL-44’s
ROTJ Endor
A 1:1 recreation of the blaster Han Solo draws when confronted by the Ewoks on the Forest Moon of Endor. Like the original, this replica is built around an MGC base and includes every element that makes this version unique — the specific greeblie, flash hider, and mount seen only on this prop. Even the scope weavers, long out of production, have been authentically reengineered from scratch.
ROTJ Stembridge
This is the Hero prop from Return of the Jedi. This blaster gets most of its screen time outside the bunker during the Battle of Endor. When production moved to Northern California for those battle sequences, Bapty — the UK company responsible for all original trilogy props — shipped a mount, greeblies, flash hider, and scope to Stembridge, a local prop house, where they were assembled onto a live-fire C96 to complete the blaster. That’s how it got its name.
Like every DL-44 that came before it, this prop features uniquely designed components not found on any other version, no matter how similar they may appear. The scope closely resembles the Endor version but is distinguished by its gold-toned front element. The serial number of the original C96 film prop has also been authentically duplicated.
Modern DL-44’s
TFA Hero
A 1:1 recreation of the hero prop from *The Force Awakens* — Disney’s first Star Wars film following the acquisition from George Lucas. These props were built around an HFC M712 airsoft base rather than the C96 frames used throughout the original trilogy. As with every blaster in this lineup, all kit parts — scope, mount, heat sink, greeblie, and flash hider/bull barrel — are unique to this specific version, each recreated in CAD with the same level of obsessive accuracy.
S:ASWS Hero (Hero and Hero/Carbine)
- Hero – Like the TFA blaster, this prop was also built from an airsoft base — specifically an AW Custom M712 pre-configured in a Star Wars-style Han Solo layout. Lucasfilm sourced a number of these and reworked the left side, swapping out the bull barrel and mystery disk for the final filming prop. No detail has been overlooked in this recreation. It’s as close to the actual filming prop as humanly possible.
- Hero/Carbine – The full carbine configuration, recreated so you can assemble and disassemble it just as it functioned in the film. The front and rear sections are recreated from limited reference photography, so some educated interpretation is involved — but it’s remarkably close, and will be updated as better references become available.

PS/RIA Auction/Replica
This replica is based on the so-called “Million Dollar” DL-44 that sold at auction for a record-breaking sum, marketed as the original hero prop from the 1977 production of *Star Wars*. Research into the C96 serial number — each genuine Mauser carries its own unique identifier — confirmed that the serial number does not match the documented original filming prop. That said, the scope and upper mount section on the auctioned piece have been verified as authentic original components.
Whatever its true provenance, the prop itself is fascinating, and it’s been recreated here with full accuracy — the distinctive mount angle, the oversized mount screw knobs, the unique serial number. Every detail, faithfully captured.

We were all very impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail on this blaster. The pain-staking research that John puts into these blasters is greatly appreciated. He also sent us a 30-minute YouTube video explaining the details and features of the blaster. My sister and brother-in-law plan to mount both of their new treasures above their main T.V. in their living room. Needless to say, no regrets on the purchase whatsoever.

My Bespin Blaster arrived today and omg it is awesome!!! I got it for my ESB Han Solo cosplay and I’m so glad I did. This blaster is perfect. The attention to detail is exquisite. The quality of the material is top notch. It has a very nice feel and weight to it. And it’s gorgeous to look at.
John has wonderful customer service. The Bespin Blaster was out of stock, and I emailed John to ask when one would become available. John told me that he was actually working on one, and if I’d like that one. He made sure I, and no one else, was able to purchase it. He kept me up to date as he finished it, sent me info about the blaster I was getting, let me know when it was completed, when it shipped, and gave me the tracking number. There’s a reason you keep seeing me on these pages, I keep coming back! I think overall the ROTJ style blasters are my favorite, as they have the most comfortable grip for my hand and maintain that iconic Mauser profile without having a huge scope mount. John captures these blasters perfectly in 3D print form, giving them a nice weight that feels substantial while maintaining functionality and aesthetics too! Well done!

This blaster is very particular in that it is still a mystery as to what some of the parts on its mount are. All of John’s blasters are cool, but his attention to detail is bar none! The proof – this model was a stunt made of resin, and thus lighter than a hero style prop – and John has replicated it! It even comes with an insert for the trigger since the resin cast would not have been a functional gun. This one can be both static and functional! Fantastic!!!

Had a terrific experience ordering with this seller! The blaster came packaged with immense care. I’ve wanted an ANH DL-44 blaster ever since I was a kid, and I’m so happy I decided to go with this seller’s DL-44! This prop captures all of the fine details and little nuances of the screen-used 1977 Hero prop, down to the scratches on the grips and the weathered paint on the scope rail. Oh man! If you’re looking for a DL-44 blaster, you’ve come to the right seller! I honestly was debating between this one, the “Bespin,” and the “Endor” but I ultimately chose this one and I’m more than happy with my purchase. Shipping was incredibly fast – got the item in the mail the next day after ordering! This is not the first 3D printed blaster I’ve purchased, but it has definitely become my favorite one already with all the details and moving parts. If you are looking for something to display and pick up to mess around with every now and then or looking for a DL-44 for your Star Wars cosplay, I highly recommend this shop. 10/10 would purchase from here again if the need ever arises.

Fantastic 3D printed DL-44 replica! You can tell that a lot of care and time went into creating this blaster. The inclusion of a swappable orange flash hider for cosplay is a stroke of genius; I purchased this to wear to conventions and I was looking for something that looked great but was also clearly not a real weapon. I’m confident that this is the most accurate 3D printed DL-44 you can find today, great work!
